Playwright & Poet

Paul Barile is a playwright with credits throughout Chicago as well as New York, London, and Madison, Wisconsin. His poetry has been published all over the world. He also teaches poetry in the Continuing Education department at Harper College. He writes lyrics for two musical projects he is involved in.
Barile – a former journalist – has had a number of short stories published throughout the country. In addition, Paul was a contributor to “Hungry Chicago” and “NotForTourists” and “A Barfly’s Guide to Chicago’s Drinking Establishments” among others.
His novel “My Brother’s Hands” is being prepared for publication early 2013.
